The Dusty Rover

On the set of Mustafar
"It's over, Anakin. I have the high ground."
S.S. Point Reyes
Coated in rain and thick mist, I finally found it in the marshes near Inverness.
L O S T
The waterfall reward after swimming through to the end of Oneonta Gorge.
Yogis at Horsehoe Bend
Point Reyes coastline.
Climbing the Guillotine
Climbing up between two tremendous stones wedged into Orderville Canyon (the second one, unseen, is suspended 40 feet above the canyon floor, thus giving the name "the Guillotine").
We had a late start into the canyon, and it was about 5:30p by the time we got here. That water was frickin' cold!
Under the Alpine Sea
Steeped in fog at the Simelihorn, hoping for a glimpse of the Milky Way. The fuzzy lights in the distance are from the Mittellegi mountaineering hut which sits on the northeastern ridge of the famous Eiger mountain, and the Eigerwand railway station which is burrowed through the mountain itself.
Finding a route across the craggly rocks of Lower Nuayaca Falls
The ancient glacier-carved valley that inspired Tolkien's Rivendell. He visited here in 1911.
Mauna Kea from Mauna Loa
Atop the ice-covered slopes of Mauna Loa. Mauna Kea and its observatories can be seen in the background.
Hidden meaning three, the dusty rover is in fact a reference to the usual sanitary state of my vehicle.
Watching the snowcats on Mt. Hood ruin all our exposures.
Half Dome Cables
After a 5 hour midnight trek to the subdome.
